Meet The Staff
Richard W. Hopp
I graduated Southwest Missouri State University in 1977 with a degree in Biology and Psychology. I have two children, Sarah and Eldon.
I started in the insurance business with the Continental Insurance Company in 1978 where I was a traveling field agent and called on agencies in central Missouri. I took a sales position with the Wiemann & Pues Insurance Agency in 1981, working with owner Jerry Bean. I purchased the agency from his estate in 1993 when Mr. Bean passed away and have owned the agency since.
Besides working in the insurance agency, I have been involved with the Washington Town & Country Fair since 1984, serving as the Main Stage Entertainment Coordinator until 2010 and the Fair Chairman in 1991. Currently I am the President of the Historic Washington Foundation, the sister organization of Downtown Washington, Inc. I believe in Downtown! I am also a member of the Washington Lions Club and have served as Treasurer since 1982. Another one of my passions is helping kids with disabilities and I have been a member of the Moolah Shriners of St. Louis Patrol for 43 years.
Ricki Torres
I was born and raised in Washington, Missouri and graduated Washington High School in 1992. I joined the Wiemann & Pues Insurance Agency team in 1998, working as a customer service representative. I later acquired my agents license in 2003 and currently service the personal lines department. Whether it be your home, auto or personal belongings, it's my job to make sure your valuable assets are covered in the untimely event of loss.
Outside of the office I am happily married to my husband Anthony. We reside in Washington with our two children Reese and Gavin. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and watching my kids participate in sports. I absolutely love this area and am proud to call Washington home.
Robin Martini
I'm a born and raised Jersey Girl who moved to Washington, Missouri in 1999. In 2004 I walked through the doors of Wiemann & Pues for my own personal insurance needs and have been here ever since. Not only did I get a great job, but I gained a family. I'm currently the Administrative Assistant and Bond Underwriter for the agency and have learned so much in the 15 years I've been employed here.
I am the mother of one beautiful and talented daughter Rayann. When I'm not working I enjoy the gym, my family & friends and traveling.
Sarah Hopp
I am a 2006 graduate of Washington High School. After high school, I attended Saint Louis University, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Soon after graduating college, I took a huge risk and made a career change and moved to New York City in 2015! In NYC, I bartended for Broadway theatres, while going on tons of auditions for musical theatre. I made my Off-Broadway debut in "Antigone in Ferguson" in 2018. In 2019, I was lucky enough to be able to perform in "Antigone in Ferguson" again, this time for a ten week run in Brooklyn. In 2020 when Covid hit, I moved back to Washington and decided to get my insurance license. I have been a commercial agent with the company since 2021. I have a huge passion for musical theatre and have been performing since high school. I also love to travel and try to travel as much as I can. Come on in and see me and we can talk about theatre, travel and animals...and of course insurance.
Rebecca Bruton - Life and Health Agent
I graduated from St. Francis Borgia Regional High School in 2019. I attended Webster University from 2019 to 2021. I graduated from East Central College in 2023. I started working at Wiemann and Pues Insurance Agency in 2024. I live in Washington. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
Moira "Mooshie" Hopp
Moira, the office dog, is a Scottish Terrier specializing in customer relations. She loves meeting new people, getting treats, and belly scratches. Don't be confused by her showing her teeth when you walk through the front door, that is her smiling for you because she is excited to meet you! While she definitely has the so called "Scottietude," she loves being around people. We won't be offended if you want to come into the office just to play with Moira.
